What is a certified translation?
A certified translation of a document made by a translator certified by the Ministry of Justice in Romania. Certified translations are usually made for official documents and bear the signature and the stamp of the translator, certifying the accuracy of the translation. They are regarded by the relevant authorities as having formal status.
Who are the certified translators?
Translators certified by the Ministry of Justice in Romania to translate official documents and work with all institutions within the ministry, such as the police, courts, law firms or notary offices.
Certified translation format
Certified translations must be followed by a text, which includes the forename and surname of the translator, the number of the certificate and the date of its obtaining, the source language and the target language, as well as the declaration certifying the accuracy of the translation.
