What is a notarised translation?
The notarised translation is, as in the case of the certified translation, made by a certified translator, and then signed and stamped by a notary public, who certifies that the translator is indeed certified and has the right to translate.
Who can notarise the translation?
In Romania, the translation can be notarised by a notary public, who certifies, in addition to the signature and stamp of the translator, that the document that has been translated is an original document. He/she does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of the translation.
Notarised translation format
Notarised translations must be followed by a text, which includes the forename and surname of the translator, the number of the certificate and the date of its obtaining, the source language and the target language, as well as the declaration certifying the accuracy of the translation, together with a text to be filled in by the notary public, who certifies the signature and stamp of the certified translator, as well as the fact that the document that has been translated is an original document.
